About Petfetti
-
What is Petfetti, in simple terms?
Petfetti is an all-in-one pet health tracker for cats and dogs. It lets you log meals, medications, vaccines, symptoms, bathroom habits, weight and other health metrics, set reminders, view charts, generate vet-ready summaries for one or more pets, and collaborate with family members, sitters and other trusted caretakers.
What makes Petfetti really unique are two powerful features: Daily Check-in for a quick, guided snapshot of how your pet ate, drank, slept, moved, and eliminated each day, plus a Condition Tracker that keeps ongoing issues (like allergies, and temporary or chronic conditions) in a single, time-stamped timeline you can review with your vet.
-
Who is Petfetti for? Does it work for both cats and dogs, and for multiple pets?
Petfetti is designed for pet owners and caretakers who want a clearer picture of day-to-day health for their cats and dogs. You can create separate profiles for each pet, track their routines individually, and still see all of their logs, schedules, and charts from a single account.
-
Is Petfetti designed for everyday wellness tracking, emergencies, or both?
Petfetti focuses on everyday wellness tracking: feeding, routines, behaviors, symptoms, health condition monitoring and trends over time. It is not an emergency service, tele-vet platform, or diagnostic tool, and it does not replace urgent care from a veterinarian or emergency clinic.
-
How is Petfetti different from just using a notes app or spreadsheet for my pet’s health?
Petfetti gives you structured log types (for meals, meds, symptoms, poop, pee, water, etc.) instead of free-form notes, so the data can be graphed, filtered, and searched easily. Schedules turn care plans into reminders that open the right log, and charts turn everything you’ve logged into visual trends you can show your vet. By visualizing and having everything in one place you can connect the dots faster, and take informed decisions more easily.
-
Does Petfetti replace my veterinarian or provide medical diagnoses?
No. Petfetti helps you record and organize information (what you fed, what you noticed, when medication was given), but it does not diagnose conditions or tell you what treatment to use. Any medical concerns or emergencies should always be handled by a licensed veterinarian.
-
Does Petfetti offer live vet chat, telehealth, or emergency support?
No. Petfetti does not include live vet chat, telehealth consultations, or emergency triage. It’s a wellness logging and tracking tool, so for urgent questions or emergencies you should contact your vet or local emergency clinic directly.
-
Does Petfetti track my pet’s location or use GPS?
No. Petfetti does not track your pet’s location, and it doesn’t connect to GPS collars or other location hardware. Its scope is health and wellness tracking (logs, schedules, charts), not real-time location monitoring.
-
Can Petfetti automatically import data from vet records, wearables, smart feeders, collars, or other devices?
No (for now). All data in Petfetti is added manually by you or your caretakers. It does not automatically import data from vet systems, smart devices, feeders, or wearables; instead, you record key events (doses, readings, meals) using the appropriate log type.
Health tracking & features
-
What kinds of things can I track with Petfetti for my pet?
You can track both daily well-being and specific health events. Daily Check-in captures how your pet ate, drank, slept, moved, and eliminated that day. Logs cover events like meals, water intake, symptoms, behaviors, poop, pee, medications, vaccines, parasite preventives, vitals, and weight. All of this feeds into timelines and charts so you can review patterns over time.
-
Which health metrics can I log in Petfetti (meals, medications, vaccines, symptoms, bathroom habits, weight, etc.)?
On top of Daily Check-in logs, Petfetti currently supports logs for meals and water intake; medications, vaccines, and parasite treatments; symptoms and behaviors; bowel movements and urination; health metrics such as weight, height, and blood glucose; and vitals like temperature, heart rate, respiratory rate, and blood pressure.
-
How detailed do my logs need to be for Petfetti to be useful?
Each log type asks only for the key details it needs. You can keep entries very quick—just the required fields—and add extra notes when something seems important. Even simple, consistent logging over time gives Charts and Condition Tracker enough signal to surface useful trends.
-
What is the Daily Check-in, and how does it work?
Daily Check-in is a once-a-day flow where you quickly record how your pet ate, drank, slept, moved, scratched or groomed, and whether poop and pee looked normal, plus any notes. It turns that information into at-a-glance summaries on the Home screen, 7-day charts, and a shareable recap you can share. Daily Check-in is ideal when you want a simple daily habit rather than a lot of individual logs.
-
What are Logs in Petfetti, and how do they work with the Daily Check-in?
Logs are specialized entries for specific events—like one meal, one bowel movement, one symptom, or one medication dose. They’re designed for detail: exact food and portion, stool consistency and color, precise symptom tags, or the dose and time of a medication. Daily Check-in is your once-a-day snapshot of how the day went overall. Logs go deeper on the individual moments that matter. You can use Logs on their own or alongside Daily Check-in: many people use Daily Check-in as a quick daily habit and then add Logs whenever they need more granular tracking for a specific issue, vet request, or ongoing condition. Both feed into your pet’s history and charts, so they work best together rather than as an either/or choice.
-
What are Schedules and how do they help me stay on track with care routines?
Schedules let you create repeating plans for meals, medications, vaccines, and parasite preventives. You choose the pet, frequency, times, and what is being given. Petfetti then sends reminders at the right times and opens a pre-filled log when you mark a task complete or skipped. This keeps your plan, reminders, and actual history all in sync.
-
How do Charts work, and what kinds of patterns can they help me spot in my pet’s health?
The Charts tab turns all your logs into interactive graphs. You can focus on one pet and one metric at a time, change the time window, and see, for example, which foods you use most, how water intake changed, how often a symptom occurs, and what your pet’s bowel movements look like over time. Charts make it easier to show your vet clear trends instead of guessing from memory.
-
How do Pet Profiles work, and what information can I store about each pet?
Each pet has its own profile where you can store its identity and context information: name, one or more breeds if it's mixed breed, color, sex and sterilization status, birth and “gotcha” dates, microchip details, timezone, and which caretakers have access. The profile also links into the Condition Tracker and shows all active schedules for that pet, so it acts as a hub for their ongoing care.
-
What is the Condition Tracker, and when would I use it?
Condition Tracker is one of Petfetti's unique flagship features. It is designed for ongoing issues like allergies, chronic conditions, or post-surgery recovery. You create a named condition for a pet and then track the condition's status updates, notes, and linked logs and schedules on a single timeline, with separate views for ongoing vs. resolved conditions. Use it when you need a clean, time-stamped history to discuss with your vet, not just isolated entries.
-
What are Libraries in Petfetti, and why would I add items there?
Libraries are where you define custom items once—foods, medications, and antiparasitic products—so every log and schedule can reuse the same details. That means your meal logs always refer to the same food entry, and medication logs always refer to the same drug name and strength. This keeps your data consistent, especially when multiple people are logging for the same pet.
-
How does the Calendar tab relate to Schedules, Logs, and Daily Check-ins?
The Calendar tab combines a monthly calendar with a day-by-day timeline of scheduled care tasks (meals, meds, vaccines, parasite control) and the logs tied to them. From there you can complete or review scheduled items and search across past logs or future tasks. Daily Check-ins have their own dedicated flow and do not appear as separate events on the calendar timeline.
-
How do Charts handle multiple metrics like weight, water intake, and bowel movements over time?
Each chart focuses on one type of metric for a selected pet. For example, Water Intake offers both frequency and quantity views, health metrics lets you pick from options like weight or blood glucose, and the poop charts let you see bowel movement frequency plus pie charts for consistency, color, and other attributes. You can change the time range to see short-term changes or long-term trends.
Accounts, plans & devices
-
Is there a free version of Petfetti, and what’s included?
Petfetti can be downloaded from the App Store for free, and you can start using core tracking features, like Daily Check-in, right away. The app also offers paid plans or upgrades that unlock additional functionality (for example, more pets, unlimited logs, schedule creation, or advanced chart access), and the exact plan details are shown inside the app so you always see current options.
-
Are any features (like advanced charts or Condition Tracker) only available on paid plans?
Some features are only available on paid plans. For example, detailed charts, schedule creation, unlimited logs or conditions, or the size of a Caretaker Team may be limited on basic tiers and fully unlocked on higher plans. The app’s paywall and in-app messages explain exactly what’s included in each plan.
-
Which devices and operating systems does Petfetti support?
Petfetti is currently an iOS app available through the Apple App Store. It requires iOS 18 or later.
-
Can I use Petfetti when I’m offline or traveling across time zones?
Petfetti is designed to sync data and reminders even when you are offline, and syncs everything when you go online again. When you travel, each pet’s own timezone (stored on its profile) is used to calculate schedules and reminders, and you can update that time zone if your pet’s “home” base changes.
-
How do I change measurement units in Petfetti (kg vs lb, ml vs cups, °C vs °F)?
Unit preferences live in the app's Settings. From there you can switch units for weight, volume, and temperature among others. Once changed, Petfetti automatically converts values in logs and charts to match your chosen system.
-
Can I export, download, or delete my pet’s data if I stop using Petfetti?
Yes. In App Settings you’ll find options to export your data (which sends an archive of your account data) and to delete your account, which removes your Petfetti data after any active subscriptions are cancelled, following the flow required by the App Store. You can reuse the same email to create a new account and start over if you later change your mind.
